Had a big 10 come in tonight at last light, grunting chasing does but locked up at 50, damn wind switched to East did me in. And the fact that I didn't wear enough clothes and was full body shivering didn't help. Out of town until Sunday evening then back after it. Best action I've seen in October in years..

Sat all day. Saw 7-8 different bucks. Biggest was a mid 130s 10pt. He was alone. But at last light had a doe and her fawn come into the field with short tine 9 trailing them. Hope the big boys start moving around me. Let's put some more points on the board, team!!

Shot a young 8 yesterday evening. Finally got him out this morning. Public land, southern Ohio. Scores 108. Not a giant but I never did get on the big boys up here and this is our last day so I'm happy as could be!

Congrats, Lung! I knocked one down on Friday morning. Decided to go hunt public so no extra bonus points for one on cam. I was probably all settled in the tree for 20 minutes maybe when he came walking right towards me. I was hesitant at first but when I saw the mass on his left side and his g2 and g3, I said I'm killing this buck. Passed by at 12 yds, I stopped him, and let it fly. He went maybe 80 yds and laid to rest. Easy blood trail to follow since I was using 2" Rocket Hammerheads. What makes this even better, this is second buck I've taken from that same tree since I moved here in 2011. A friend scored him at 150" on the nose. My biggest buck to date. This is why I moved here!!

Thanks, guys. Keep after 'em Tuff. We're not out of this yet. I'll be trying to take a bigger buck during second season. Good luck, teammates.
