Here's one I found in the beginning of August. Its last year's rub but it is where he beds in the rut. The tree sit on a hump that is roughly a 6' circle that is about 1' higher than all the ground around there. Normally the area is wet ground or standing water. This is only 20 yards from cattails that have about 1' of water in them all year.
