Not hardly!! I would trade most of those tags for a legit shot at a 150" buck every year like you mid west guys have, behind every tree! Or so I hear lol. You are automatic for a pile of does and at least two good bucks every year, can't ask for anymore than that. I'm also pretty sure you are the guy with a 178" on the wall lol! lol, yeah but he's a once in 3 lifetimes buck here! I thought you guys had a hard time going for groceries without running into a booner?? (Lol) Doe, we are still heavily over populated with in this area so they are easy here. I'm sure that's why MD state still gives us 30 doe tags with our license

Or so I hear lol. my tag went on 138" last year I remember him. He was a great buck. His rack size is what a lot of our mature deer top out at. I have no idea why. Most seem to plateau at or under 140". Occasionally we see or hear of a 150s-170s buck but it's not common. Now in my dad's area of pa, a 3.5 yr old buck is pretty rare. The whole area is still infested with lead flying in every direction for 2 weeks of rifle, people putting on drives and ground checking their deer. I thought I would have seen some change by now but nope!

Good luck everyone hunting now or going to hunt. My bow season start on October 1. Last year I passed a lot of good bucks, end the season I eat my any sex tag. I don't think it happen again this year.

It's official my best property last year was posted public today well see I was really hoping the state if mi would show they are trying to improve the age class of deer by adding point restrictions or something to that property o well time will tell

Morning hunt went well. Saw those 2 fawns, an 80" hard horned 8pt and a big old doe but she stayed just out of range. Saw a few deer this evening including this full velvet 120" 8pt. Had him at 15-30 yds for over an hour. Took a bunch of pics but they are all blurry. Took a lot of will power for me to pass a full velvet buck lol. I have always wanted a p&y velvet buck but no matter how many times I added him up i kept getting 118"-121". I'm glad he finally left when he did, not sure I could have held out much longer

Did he loose the crab claw on his left side? I think he grew but not as much as I first thought

Yes. He was a 9 with a sticker now he's 8 with 3 stickers. So far three of my better bucks from last year are back with fewer points.
