Man guys I'm sorry I haven't been active. Lot has been going on with me the last 10 months. I'm trying to get my hands on a bow to shoot. As some of you might remember, mine got stolen a few months back and after the divorce I went thru earlier in the year the funds just simply aren't there to replace it now. I had been shooting a friends back up bow but he recently dropped his and messed it up so he needed it back. I bought a crossbow for my Dad a couple years ago and I've taken that a few times for lack of another option. Soon as I can get a stick and string I'll start chiming in more! Hope y'all are having a great season this far! Be safe!! I didn't know you had your gear stolen. That sucks!! I have a hoyt ultratec that I modified a little when I was bored that you are welcome to use til the end of the season. It's nothing special but it shoots good! It's right handed, has rotating mod to adjust draw length and 60-70 lbs. I have some arrows laying around to I can send along too. I can ship it to you this week, just ship it back when your done with it! Just let me know buddy. Like I said, it's nothing special but it's better than sitting on the sideline Wow man, I really don't know what to say! That's incredibly kind of you! Message sent!!

Just got on here and caught up with the posts. That's awesome brushdog!! A brotherhood indeed. Canuck I've got several carbon arrows around that would probably work. I think they are Maximas....I believe cut to 28 1/2 or 29. I can check and if you need them let me know. They are just gathering dust here and you are welcome to them. Let me know!

They don't confiscate deer. They take cougars if you shoot one. Talked to the conservation agent in charge of my area and he was really nice. Said in Missouri its illegal to kill big cats long pause then said but if your livestock or yourself is threatened you could kill it. Said he couldn't question weather I or the livestock felt threatened. By law you have 24hrs to report it and they would come take it that I couldn't keep it legally. I see. I thought you were talking about deer. I hunt in North east Missouri and have never seen a big cat. It's just a matter of time

Should be something dead by the end of the day monday though!! (better be) LOL

I'm going to head out in just a little bit to check a couple cameras. Didn't start running them until just a few weeks ago this year so I'm still getting an idea of what's on the property. So far I've identified 4 bucks I'd sling an arrow at. If I have any decent pics off this round of card pulls I'll be sure and post them up!

Looked to be every bit of 4.5-5.5 years old but had an 80" rack. Saw him for 2 years then he disappeared.

I'm up finally. Sat in my truck for a little over an hour while it down poured. So much for the 26% chance of light rain during that hour lol. Still misting a little but hopes are high. Sun is out and lots of tracks along the corn. Guess we will see. Attachments:

Hope you did better than me mi91. Had 3 bucks come in tonight. ready for this.....................2 spikes and a button buck LOL. Hunting with my almost 4 year old daughter tomorrow evening. Were going to have a "daddy daughter hunting day" she calls it. Were going to make a trip to bass pro in the morning, then shoot our bows, then get into the blind by 5pm that her, i and her grandfather set up just for her. I know we will see deer, but i dont have high hopes for shooting one. I have a gut feeling she is going to get a little excited!! It will be her first time out. I have been saving this spot just for her this year. Lots of doe pass though this old pasture a little before dark so it should keep her entertained at least Good luck this weekend everyone!!!!!
