Yeah that's a tough one mi91. Will be nice to still hunt there but not if it's a mad house of people. Best part is you will already have the inside info about where to go and don't have to pay

Yeah I'm happy about that and have a good idea of a few bucks I was chasing last year I kno one of them made it I only had a few half pictures of him and only saw him 1 time he was a ghost.... There were also some nice 130-140 class bucks i got on cam last winter when I was taking post season inventory only time will tell I hope they don't allow atvs most of the places I hunted were a ways back in anyway maybe the majority will not venture that far in

I'm mostly upset I haven't been scouting out there at all since I didn't know what was gonna come of it and I wasn't gonna pay more money for less land (that was the latest rumor)

I got couple more bucks on my trail. I will post picture when I get time this week. I increase my draw weight last Sunday from 56 to 60 bl ( my draw weight used to be 50bl). I heard noise for first shot. I bring to pro shop, they saw my Botech prodigy cam broken. They installed temporary cam for me to shoot and ordered Prodigy cam. I hope part come in before season start on October 1. It is ok to shoot now but I think speed is slow 281fps/ 60bl/ 26 inches draw length, 232 grain arrow. I will set at 56bl during hunting season. I bought this bow 6 month ago, I thought it was 276fps at 50pound

Nothing to hijack here I have not put cameras out yet. I may put one out this weekend, I would like to up and do some light scouting before the opener next weekend. Last season i ran a couple of cameras and in the end I just hunted where it made sense based on scouting the area. I've noticed that by the time I check a cam during season it's to late I've been hearing a lot of guys like the drurys talk about using that info the next year makes sense I mainly use my cams for inventory tho There's no need to check them so often that your unable to use the info. Some guys frown upon it if you check them every 2 weeks or less. All my Cameras are on trails and roads and I check them every time I walk by. Even during the season I pull the card and look them over while I'm in the stand.

I try to check my cameras at least once a week from this point on. I will pull cards everytime I hunt once season starts even if it's only been one day.

There's nothing that makes me madder than letting a camera sit for a month straight and then seeing there was a good buck all over it 3 weeks ago

I've been moving cams around and still not getting any good ones on camera. Im not too worried but it still bugs me. Usually I've got two or three shooters on a hit list by now. On a good note I am getting tons of does on camera. Usually 200+ pics on weekly checks...

F&S if I'm not mistaken right? I thought I remembered reading that over on AT. Congrats bud! Finally, I have everything 100% ready to go equipment wise. Bow, pack, stand and deer cart are ready for some carnage. A few more days of healing up and i should be ready too!! I wont get to check the cameras again until the first time I hunt those spots. 6.5 days and counting

I check them when I hunt in the area but I tend to get stuck on a property and neglect to go to others and when I get there the movement was there and gone haha
