I hunt them with a bow a little. Sometimes I revert to run & gun with the 12ga. Lol

I hunt with shotgun and bow, I'll try to kill my first one with the old 1187 and then pick up my bow. Unless a contest breaks out then it'll be bow only.

I fling arrows at them. This year I'm going to try it with a recurve

I fling arrows at them also. I hate hunting them from a blind so my success rate sucks with a bow. But it's still lots of fun. Truth be told I have missed with the bow before and grabbed the 12 guage and shot him before he was out of range.

I have never hunted turkey lol. I'm usually full fledged fishing mode by then. If there is enough interest we could definitely get something setup

Oh I'm in full fledged crappie fishing mode by February here. But the spawn and turkey season usually coincide here so I load the bow and gun in the rod box on the boat. Have killed may Toms by beaching the boat and sneaking up a bluff after hearing one gobble. Truman lake is surrounded by CORP. land so it can be good hunting. Nothing better than a limit of crappie and big Tom and some morels all the same day.

Never hunted turkey here either. Usually obsessed with shed hunting until the walleye start calling my name. Dad is die-hard turkey always trying to get me in on it, maybe one of these days..

Man, come on April ......
