Thanks guys. I wish I had a broad head that made that hole lol. Some critter beat me to the recovery and chewed up around the entrance hole. You can actually see all the pulled hair on the deadfall behind the buck. Shot was a touch low but good. Wish it had more mass, more tines and double drops but I'll leave those kinda bucks up to 195! Saw a few doe out of range tonight and had a 110" buck (maybe 100" since I seem to be 10" off on the hoof this year lol) come by but that was it. Need to regroup the next 3 days and I leave for Ohio on Thursday afternoon. Will be looking for P&Y #2 for the year

I will tonight. Going to cape out the head and score the rack after work. Definitely not as good as I thought on the hoof. He fooled me with that taller rack and the angle I guess. Actually I don't think he is going to go over 135. Still a great buck for here so I'm not complaining lol. I would have put my first tag on him regardless. Just thought he was a solid 10" bigger at the time.

So, I've had a nagging cough for 2 weeks. It did keep me out of the stand a few days. Anyways, I went to the doctor and I have pneumonia. Antibiotics and Doc said I will be good by the weekend. I didn't realize I was running on on lung!

Hope you heal up quick Ben! Take some time off now to heal all the way so you can kick some whitetail butt later. Pushing it too hard to fast will land you in worse shape than you are now with that like hogster said!

My buck scored 132 1/8". Most certainly more ground shrinkage than i thought lol. My field judging was way off on that one! I will be busting my rear end finding a bigger one.

I agree with Ben too lol. thanks guys. Sorry he didn't meet the expectations I had originally thought and posted the night I shot him. Missing a brow, less spread and about 2" off each tine from what I was judging at 30 yds. Maybe just got trigger happy idk. I do know one thing though, nothing can replace that rush of watching your arrow pass through a buck you get all excited about (even if it shrinks some later on)! Here's to everyone on this site experiencing that rush at some point this season! Good luck everyone!
