Wow 195. Those are some Giants! Congrats to your friends! Those pics almost look to real to be real lol. Looks like I need to pick up some covert cameras!
I don't think even that tree umbrella would have helped me on Friday Ben. That rain in the morning was too much for me. I elected to sit that one out as to not have all my gear soaked for the rest of the weekend. Went out Friday early afternoon and got set up, 20 min later it started pouring again lol. Then the winds picked up which didn't help. Saw a few scrub bucks and a couple doe. Saturday was much better, kinda. We got to hunt the morning and afternoon but my buddy I was hunting with got a call that his daughter was in a car accident and had some swelling in her head, so we decided to pack it up and head back for home (obviously).
Shortly before the call my dad managed to shoot a nice 10 pt. scores out at 127 2/8. He was as happy as a pig in shat lol. I saw a bunch of deer in the early evening, a mid 130s 8pt and a appox 150" toad of a buck, both just out of range. After that buck left me, it crossed the creek and over to my dad 30 min after he shot his buck of course. It seriously came into 15 yds and offered him every shot in the world. All while he can see his 127" laying dead 60 yds away! Poor guy! He did manage to take some very shaky cell pics of that buck I will post here shortly!

Well....had a 40 yd shot at tall can tonight but just couldn't bring myself to use my tag on him. He's at least 5.5 but I think he's 6.5. Such a neat buck with lots of character but it's almost November.

Thanks Brian! Hes being all cocky that he's in the "lead" with the biggest buck off the lease so far lol. Im proud of him and happy for him. It's his 2nd biggest archery buck to date.
Thanks Ben! It was a great afternoon until that phone call. Will be back out there in 1.5 weeks and looking for that big guy!
Good news is my buddies daughter is doing better. Body wise she is ok but still has 2 big lumps on her head and memory loss. She can't remember the last roughly 3 months as of yet but is now retaining new information. Yesterday she kept asking the same questions not knowing she just asked them 10 min ago. Pretty scary stuff!
