Wow, man - you have killed some critters in your day haven't you? Some good looking Whitetails you have there! How was Africa? Would you go back and do it again? I Africa is the BOMB! i have been to africa three times and yes i will go back! years ago a guy from south africa was over here on a work visa working for a local farmer. he was really into archery and started coming to 3D shoots and we became friends. when he left he invited a few of us to come hunt with him and i finally did. the first time i planned to go i backed out because i thought it was going to be too much money. then i thought, wth just do it! it was a huge savings that he was a licensed PH (professional hunter) we hunted on his uncle's farm and a farm a friend of his owned kinda like you would do if you went hunting out of town with one of your friends. i am not a wealthy guy, i have a mortgage and bills just like the next guy, i tried to save but you know how it is, something always comes up. every time i went i "borrowed" the money to go then made payments. the first time was the hardest, i thought this is crazy to borrow money to go hunting. 18 months later it was paid off and i had BEEN there. two of the whitetails are my sons and that cat is my gf's caracal she killed with her bow in africa.

I've always wanted to go, but like you said, its a money thing. I'm fairly conservative when it comes to spending money but really understand about just doing it. I'm not getting any younger and my body is pretty beat up. If I don't go soon, I might not be able to go. You have me thinking!
Great looking room and lots of memories to match. Congrats

My taxi man sent me a a sneak peek of my buck on the form this morning. I went with a wall pedestal form this time around. Sounds like he should be done around the end of the month. I'm excited to get him hanging on the wall! Attachments:

I'm excited to get him hanging on the wall! can't wait to see pics of it finished. last year was only the second time i got a deer back in less than a year. the other night i was standing in front of the wall heater looking at taxidermy in my basement thinking 'what are my kids gonna do with all this stuff when i die?'
