gotta love trail cameras and it seems like everyone has different experiences even with the same cameras. i bought two moultrie D-333 cameras this fall and have found the censor to be really sensitive. i ran them both on multi shot and they took tons of pics. not the best IR pics i have seen but not too bad. the battery life so far has been almost unreal! one of them has taken 8,000 pics and still shows 89% battery!

I run the moultrie d-55's. the censor is very sensitive on them too. Battery life is solid, not quite as good as my covert mp6 though. I personally am a big fan of my d-55 flash. Can't beat a night time color pic on a scrape!

Anybody using covert? I heard all the hype and bought a few - I'm not impressed. Not triggering, pics are blurry, etc. I tried some changes with settings and even taped of the IR sensor but nothing changed. Anybody else use them?

I use the covert mp6 and my only complaint is that sometimes the IR pics are blurry. Everything else has been great.

I would kill for pics like that out of my mp6's! I reformat cards each time, play with the settings each time, don't know if its me or the cameras. I have been very dissapointed for sure. I was even thinking of going to reconyx but having a $500 bill strapped to a tree makes me a bit nervous, never mind having more than a few of them out 7 months of the year.

I'm running 12 moultrie a-5 cams and a few others. These cams aren't the best for quality or battery life but I have so many cause they fit what I do. They're durable and I hunt a lot of urban areas where people sometimes walk dogs and kids tresspassing to play and what not so it'd be a lot easier to deal with a stolen $80 cam rather than a stolen $200 cam
