My buddy just bought one of those range finding sights the other day and I got to play around with it some last week. Pretty cool, but dang they are expensive! Let us know how you like the Vendetta!

My buddy had one for a year really liked it but ended up getting rid of it he was gonna make me a sweet deal on it I just never pulled the trigger.... he spent all that money then laughed the buck he shot that year was maybe 20 yards away

My buddy just bought one of those range finding sights the other day and I got to play around with it some last week. Pretty cool, but dang they are expensive! Let us know how you like the Vendetta! Well, went to a 3d shoot today with the vendetta mounted and calibrated perfectly to the bow. After the first 4 targets I was amazed how awesome it was and how it’s such an overlooked item that felt like a must have on every bow. By target 6 the love affair was over. Decided I’m going to take it off the bow and most likely resell it. Target 5 was Set up with the vitals between 2 small trees. Very very doable shot and one I wouldn’t even think twice on in the woods. The saplings were about 10 yds in front of the target. One going down in front of the front shoulder/brisket area and the other just in front of the hind and covering the guts. Liver area to front of the shoulder was open. It kept ranging the shot at 22 yds. I’m pretty good at estimating and knew that wasn’t right. I let down and checked with my regular rangefinder to verify and it was in fact 31 yds. Tried the vendetta 4 more times and it kept giving me 22 yds. Not good. Real life that’s a miss or certainly a VERY low superficial hit. Target 6 was a little brushy in front of the target and for the life of me I couldn’t get it to read the target. Just kept picking up the brush 5 yds before the target. Kept playing with all the way through target 30 with similar results. Wide open targets (clear/wide open from nose to tail) it worked perfectly. Anything else, not so much. I shoot unknown 3d the majority of the time but today was all about the vendetta and hunting season prep. Done get me totally wrong though. If I hunted field edges, I would 100% absolutely keep it on the bow And smile when I killed my buck by ranging and shooting all in one motion. However that’s not how I hunt at all. Where I hunt in the swamps and thicker timber I honestly feel it would do more harm than good. Hope that helps anyone on the fence like I was.

Thanks for the review! I’ve often wondered if they’d be worth buying. When I win the lotto and I’m hunting over my Iowa bean field I’ll give one a try! 😉

I need to start shooting again I was doing good then it got 95 for a few weeks after workin in that all day I wasn’t really feeling the shooting part Can’t argue with that! I’ve been shooting 20 yds everyday in my basement range I built before work and some nights after. It’s about 62 degrees down there and I love it lol. Been mid 90s here and it is tough to get motivated to shoot outside. I am going to a 3d with the recurve on Sunday though. Should be plenty of carbon donated back to nature by Sunday afternoon hahaha

Well just found out my idiot state is now allowing all legal firearms to be used during muzzleloader season in the lower peninsula.... when all other states are doing things to help improve age structure as they see that’s where the money is for them what’s my state do...? Here u go let’s extend the already long gun season another 10 days because the 2 weeks in a row wasn’t long enough to let everyone and their brother out in the woods!!!
Sorry for my rant just really tired of this state I’m in especially at this time

Exactly! I mean I guess it’s a trade off went from a 17 day muzzleloader 2 10 more days of gun but the other 7 days is now a late doe so still going to have guns blazing for the better part of a month.... had high hopes they would do something to help the hunting but guess I’ll stick with the i better get it done early as always my hunting goes down hill hard after the first week of gun when everyone and their brother decides to go out

We have a 9 day muzzleloader hunt, followed by a 2 day youth gun hunt, followed by about a 25 day gun hunt, followed by another muzzleloader hunt, a week long gun doe only hunt, followed by a Christmas gun hunt and finally wrapped up with one more youth gun hunt. Oh and they use dogs for about a 3 week stretch during the main gun season. Then they wonder why so many young bucks get killed.

Walked about 2 miles in some hard to get 2 public yesterday and short of some of the other land owners by it I doubt this area gets hunted very over looked but man it was thick got me really excited I know this area holds big deer it used to be a hunt club not 2 long ago I was a member after it became public the pressure in the main woods is just crazy got back in this spot didn’t see any song of people. Driving home I made a lap around the fields close to where I can hunt been watching a few good bucks in the beans they were out ran and grabbed the spotter and parked on the hill trying to get a better look. Looked kike 3 maybe have been shooters but was loosing light and a long ways off pretty pumped about how yesterday went

That’s awesome 91. I love finding spots like that. No better feeling than going in there with your stand on your back for the first time and being back out of there before it gets dark........................... dragging your buck!!
