One thing I’ve really enjoyed is I’ve always managed to land on a team that was really active. Looks like that trend will continue. Y’all keep the updates, trail cam pics and good laughs coming.

My cameras at the house have dried up. I haven’t got a deer pic on either of my cell cams in 3 days and it’s been about a week since I got my last buck pic. Pulled cards at the lease yesterday and have a decent 7 that I’ll try to put my first buck tag on, but normally by now I’ve got 3-4 shooters on cam. Still anxious to get out there. 12 more days...

I miss my faktor 34 I used to have. It was one of my favorite hoyts. I currently shoot a Hoyt Helix Ultra and have a Nitrum 34 as my back up. Have been hunting with my recurve so far this year though. It’s a 21” W&W riser with medium 40 lb trad tech limbs. It’s super smooth and shoots great (when I can shoot it great lol). Been shooting it hard all summer to make sure I was ready for this season. Plan to switch back and forth between the compound and recurve throughout the season, but will definitely be toting the compound for the rut!!
No dead deer for me this weekend. Hunted Friday and Yesterday. Got completely blanked yesterday. Hunted a spot I know well but there is not much sign there this year for some reason. Scouted out the entire area mid day and couldn’t find anything. Bumped a doe and a fawn but didn’t see a thing from the stand. Back to the drawling board for this coming weekend!!

Team 1- Once Upon A Tine
My kid suggested it haha. I’ve already burned through all my team 1 names since I’m always on team 1. Anybody else have a better idea?

My early season honey hole! Beans to the north...bedding southwest mostly but some southeast too. They walk up the field through the gap which is 35 yards wide so anything that walks through there is within range. X marks my stand site. I’ll be climbing in that sucker about 4:30 tomorrow evening...can’t wait!! 😬😬
