oh it's pretty painless the club seth runs has a pot for the shoot (anybody that wants in just pays an extra $5 and they put up cash for top five shoot-off. doesn't cost you any more to shoot plus you have a chance to pocket some arrow money .

I shot 3D shoots regularly until I bought my camp 2 years ago. I haven't gone since then but I have 9 3D targets set around camp that I shoot every weekend and just change it around every now and again so it doesn't get boring

has anybody seen an on-line 3D league? thinking it might be something fun but having a hard time envisioning how it would work. I know Addix did. I was late to the party and didn't participate, but I read into it a little. Basically pick teams like the deer contest. After a shoot you take your score and divide it by total possible points to get a percentage. I would assume you would need like a 5 shoot minimum to get a season average. You could even limit it to 5 shoots with the option to upgrade up to two scores. That would be fun. Went out and set targets with the club today for a shoot tomorrow. Just got an E32 Thursday and I'm gonna use her for a round. My neighbor wanted to try it and legitimately layed down a sub 3" group at 70 yards. Never knew he was a shooter for PSE. Probably the most impressive thing I've ever seen. Now I know I can't blame the bow when I'm shooting poor. I shoot 3d for fun and the raffles. The thing that has really helped me improve is shooting 5 spot. I never thought I would become a paper puncher cause I was always a punk bowhunter that made fun of the nerds with their huge stabilizer set ups and high tech gadgets. But as I've matured I've become a lot more interested in other activities in the archery world. Your form and bad habits really come to light shooting 5 or 3 spot.

Nearing the end of summer 3D season for us here. Shot a two man scramble with a friend Sunday. Me and my partner ended up 3rd over all and 3rd in the 5 target shoot off. My son and his partner were 4th over all and 2nd in the shoot off. Everyone shot well and was pretty happy. Time to get the hunting bow out and get used to fixed pins again. Attachments:
