Heater body or IWom suits ? Anybody have them? Ive seen great reviews but wanting to get the pros and cons of both. Looking to buy one for the wife so she can hunt longer. How complicated are they to actually get a shot off when wearing them? Anything you found out after buying them that would stop you from buying one vs the other ? There pricey so want to make the best decision i can .thanks

I have the heater body suit and love it. I honestly wouldn't hunt late season without it. I have been out in -10 with a 30 mph wind and stayed toasty warm. Takes a while to get used to when putting it on and moving around in the stand but it becomes 2nd nature eventually. Zipper on it is really quiet and it has straps that go over your shoulder so that it doesn't fall down when you slide out of it to shoot. I really like how you don't have have bulky arms with it. I wear my early season gear under it.

And how high are your stands so you don't feel like a big blob in the tree ? Me and wife are usually only 15 feet up do you think it would work at them heights? Sorry for all the questions but there have always made me hesatent to pull the trigger.

I only slide out of it if I see a deer I want to shoot. As long as you see them first they shouldn't catch you moving. Our stands are anywhere from 14-21ft. As long as you have a decent back drop it shouldn't be a problem. In fact I think sometimes it helps break up your outline as you don't look as much like a human.

I have the HBS but only just got it last year so not many hunts out of it. The few hunts I used it though I'm glad I did because it was freaking freezing.

Winter seems to start in November in iowa these days True, it does. But I don't break it out unless it's single digits, maybe in the teens or colder. I'd like for it to start now! I've had enough of this heat, lol

I've had enough of this heat, lol I try not to use it during the rut either but up in northern iowa it seems like we get single digits first week in November. This heat today is no joke, glad I'm heading north for Canada Monday

I was in the same situation a few years back. I was worried also about carrying and getting in and out of HBS. I ended up getting a Milwaukee heated jacket. Keeps me warm for about four hours per batter charge. So far it's been working great.

Trying to decide if I want to take the jump or not. I noticed last year I got cold on my all day sits and the late season ones with wind. I already pack in my bibs and jacket so I am not too worried about packing stuff in.
