I 'll be leaving for Colorado for elk in a couple weeks, anybody have any tips?

Heck I'll be happy with a small one. I've been to western Montana twice bow hunting elk, once to Colorado rifle hunting. I made the mistakes of letting some small bulls go. This year any legal elk I'll be trying to kill it lol.

Id love to take a trip out west, maybe someday. There's a lot of elk here around my home on Ky but unfortunately never been able to draw a tag. I know one thing there ain't much better eating than an elk blackstrap. Best of luck and be safe.

boggs I agree about elk steaks, pretty good eating.
Brian I'll take plenty of pics. Shooting straight idk I get flustered when a bull comes in bugling lol. I'd rather have one come sneaking in.
