Only saw a couple does this morning. Based off what my trail cameras are showing I think my morning sits are going to be limited from here on out and focus on evening close to bedding areas. We've got a warm front in the state right now and temps are a good 20 degrees higher than typical for this time of year. Really has the deer activity limited but can't shoot them from the couch so back in the stand I go!

Shot a doe tonight. She tempted me one too many times. Back to work next couple days but back out again this weekend!

Hanging around a frustrated hunter too long isn't a good idea Haha yeah when she came out she was at 60 yards and instead of heading towards the pasture where I'd expect her to go she turned and headed right to me. Got to 20 yards and turned broadside and put her head down behind a stump. Oops!

Way to go Canuck, sometimes it helps relieve little stress to just shoot one. If I let one pass she better not come back again.

Way to go canuck. Its all I can do not to shoot one that wanders in range. Just makes my day to outsmart a deer.

Doe #6 hit the dirt tonight! I posted the story in the live from the stand thread, but long story short, she picked me off in the tree. I was waiting for the 10pt i saw the other night to show up. A bunch if deer were within 40 yds of when when she caught me. She blew continuously until every deer cleared out. Just before she left too I made the shot. Back out Sunday after that 10. At least that big old doe won't be ruining my hunt again!

Congrats hogster! You certainly didn't miss anything in the deer woods. Not much moving this weekend anywhere from what I hear.

Saw a couple does on Saturday and yesterday it stormed really hard so I never made it out. Today running some errands and hopefully make it to the stand this afternoon. Wind is howling but hopefully before dark it'll lay down some.
