I passed a nice 10 points before I shot a broken antler buck 30 minute. He bed down over 30 minute 22 yards from me. I thought I would passed him then I recorded him and I did not paid attention at him any more when he worked away from me 15 yards open broad site then I changed my mind. It was too late to take my bow. Each year cost me couple nice bucks because pass or not pass???

Post it as well so we can see. Video will count toward bonus if we can see its the same deer.

Yes he is a nice buck. He is on my list but when he laid down 22 yards in thick I didn't recognize he was. When he walked away 15 yards I thought I had mistaken to passed him. It was to late to change

I shot another doe tonight. She tugged on my heart strings and I ended up feeling really bad. I accidently spine shot her (calm night and she jumped the string) and when she fell I couldn't get a quick follow up shot. She sat there and bawled while I hustled down the tree and I got up on her and put an arrow through both lungs. Took her about 20 seconds to expire after that but being mere feet from her while she was, really got to me. I think I even said "I'm so sorry'!" to her. Geez I'm getting soft the older I get. I've never had a deer get to me like that. I had to walk away for a minute and collect my thoughts. Y'all ever had one get you like that or am I alone?

Nope had that happen to me an out 5 years ago in Iowa that morning I shot my biggest buck ever went back that night to fill my doe tag and missed her at 30 she came back to the exact spot I shot my buck and I spined her knocked another arrow and shot high over her... I had to get down with only one arrow left and put her down as quick as I could I felt terrible and also said sorry....I sat there next to her on my knees for a bit to gather myself when we got back I shot my bow and was over a foot
