So it's time for a new release. My strap on my current release has just about had it. Question is how many of you that hunt use a back tension/ hinge release? Or how many use the T- handle style thumb release? Just trying to get a little more info from people that hunt with them as apposed to competition shooting.

I use the true fire edge with the hybrid strap, I really really like the small head on it

I shoot Carter releases and love them. I just clip it to my d loop and have both hands available to do whatever may need done without having to worry about a release hanging from my wrist being in the way or maybe bang it on my stand. Mine are thumb operated releases not hinges.

I just bought a used tru ball boss x thumb release. It has really shrank my groups. But now when I try my old hurricane, I can't hit the broadside of a barn.

Well I picked up a trufire edge thumb release today. So far I am liking it. Still trying to get a anchor point figured out but it does tighten your groups and stops me from punching the trigger and pulling the shot.
