I don't have any ladder stands. I only use hang ons but I used to use a climber. Any reason why you don’t use ladders ? Much of my hunting is done on public ground and I'd rather not have somebody else sitting in my stand at any time of the season. I do hunt some private properties but I set my hang ons and lock them up. Never know who might trespass and try to steal one. I'm not saying I wouldn't buy a ladder stand and use it, I just like hang ons because they are easier to set up and move around if I need to.

My friends have let me use their lock ons 2 times in Kentucky and I killed velvet bucks both times.
