I'm shooting the DRT DirtNap Gear head for the second season and really really love them.
I'll be posting a full review soon with pics

I've shot a lot of heads over the years. I typically try out 2-3 new heads a year just to see what's out there. I started shooting ulmer edge heads last year and was so impressed I filled my quiver with them and haven't looked back. Runner up to them would be the new T3's that have the sharper blades.

I haven't shot a deer since 11-23-12, starting to feel pretty inexperienced in this category

i'm still a rage guy. to me the original 2 blade made out of steel would be perfect. the new hypodermic steel ferrule is awesome but i don't care for the blade angle. i do like the fact that i haven't had to trail very many animals i have shot with rage heads though, saves the suspense when they fall in sight

I started with 125gr Thunderhead , then went strictly muzzy 3 blade. Killed deer with both had no problem with performance of either head. Very minimal difference in broad head and field tip flight until I started shooting longer distances. Than I began tuning more and more. Last year a hunting buddy got me to shoot one of his Grimm reapers and I was impressed even at 50 yards it shot just like my field points. So now I'm shooting the Reaper Whitetail Hybrid and love them. They do major damage too... Here is the first doe I shot this year at 6 yards, entered above the rear of left shoulder blade and exited under the right armpit .. Was a steep angle and she went the length of her legs.. Straight down.

Shot thunderheads when I first started hunting as a kid wasn't to impressed so I switched to nap nitrons great little head I would probably still shoot them but I can't find them any more went to montecs and liked them for what ever reason I switched to slick tricks 3 years ago and haven't looked back been very happy with them even got my dad and best bud shooting them.... The only head I may try this year is the cut in contact gravedigger might try them in a doe see what happens

Well I have been a pure rage guy for a bunch of years, by a freak set of circumstances when I shot my buck last night I ended up shooting him with a 100 grain montec head. I can tell you I will never let that happen again! I had near perfect arrow placement on quartering away at 30 yards, complete pass through. It has been years since I had to "look" for blood after shooting a deer. He only went about 80 yards or less but I'm glad he traveled through some easy ground to trail on since the blood was so sparse. Arrow entered right side third rib from back and exited through the off side leg. Entrance Exit Entrance and exit up close Rage for life baby!

After shooting the reapers a season I soon found out they were not real durable. The expandable blades bent on 2 of the 3 does is hot last year. I'm shooting hyperdermics this year but have t fired one in a deer yet.

Rage fan here. I have shot hyperdermics for two years now and will continue. Shot the original rage before that and muzzy mx4 before that. I like seeing my deer hit the ground within sight and paint the ground red on their way there.
